Binatog is simply boiled white-corn kernels! It’s a popular Filipino snack that you can also buy at many roadside stalls in the Philippines.

How to make your own binatog?

  • Soak the mature corn in a mixture of water and salt for a few hours.
  • Boil until the corn kernels’ skin almost peels off.
  • Drain the kernels and then top with sugar and/or salt.

Tastes best served with a generous helping of grated coconut on top.
