Buko Pandan

Buko (“young coconut”) is the white coconut strands, while Pandan (screwpine leaves) refers to the flavor and green color of the gelatin cubes.

This could be considered a dessert salad or a drink, depending on the amount of liquid added.

McCormick sells bottled “buco” pandan extract, which can be used to flavor cakes, pastries and other treats.
