This is a very simple Filipino dish. It’s like an omelet with finely chopped pieces of bottled gourd mixed in.
3 cups of chopped bottled gourd
1/2 cup of flour
Chop the gourd finely. Mix with a chopped onion and some salt.
Beat the eggs and mix with the chopped gourd. Add flour.
Form into patties and fry in a copious amount of hot oil as you would croquettes.
Drain from the oil. Serve with rice.

1/2 tasang arina
Gayating pino ang upo. Lagyan ng kaunting asin at sibuyas.
Batihin ang itlog at ihalo sa upo, saka ihalo sa arina.
Gawing parang “patties” at prituhin sa marami at mainit na langis.
